Greetings!
The hardest thing we will ever have to do is face a problem…a crisis… and not say something negative about it.
When we say something with our mouth that we should not say…we need to repent...call those words of unbelief back and speak words of faith instead.
Remember… Words are operating in the spirit realm…We all know that right Words spoken over us will change our attitude…will change our circumstances…they will change our life…we should be speaking these words over ourselves…we should be speaking the right words concerning our circumstances and not waiting on someone one else to speak them over us.
Psalm 103:20---angels are moved by the Word of God…they are not moved by fault finding…gossip…complaining words…they are moved by the Word of God…so give them something to work with. Learn some of His promises and speak them out loud instead of speaking your feeling.
When we are upset everything in us wants to talk about how we feel…we are not to be moved by our feelings.
Our words are seeds…they will bring a harvest…what kind of harvest are you expecting today?
Remember we are not alone…God is with us every where we go!
Blessings

Grow Faith
Greetings!
What we desire is determined by what we give our attention too..by what we hear...by what we see. When the Word departs from our eyes it is easy for us and others to determine the difference in our lives.
When we are under attack we need to get a scripture that covers that area of our life. That will grow our faith and bring victory. Whatever we don't have we can grow...we have a garden inside us and the Word is our seed...we can grow more faith...we can grow healing...we can grow prosperity...all we have to do is plant the seed inside us.
We have to allow the Word to change the way we think...if we are not in tune with the Word...then we will not think in line with the Word...staying in the Word will determine how we believe...this will determine what we confess.
We do this each day...it is not a one day process...We have to decide this is the way we will act... when opportunities come are we willing to go to the Word first thing!
Remember faith always abides in the presence tense...if you are believing for tomorrow you are in hope and not faith. If you are believing for all your needs to be met someday that is hope...if you are believing your needs are met today...that is faith.
Do not allow the Word to depart from before your eyes...it brings confidence...that confidence is faith...it comes from the Word. You have to spend time with the Word in order to produce the seed you need for the battle.
Isaiah 30:15 ..."In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength"...learn to move into His rest...into a confidence that will allow you to stand without allowing fear to enter. The issue is how much time are you willing to spend with the Word...if we run to the Word at the last minute...then we will get last minute results...we have to develop our faith in order to be ready for the battle.
Faith is acting out on the Word of God that you believe. Faith is a practical expression of your confidence in God and in His Word. Faith is faith in the Love of God...if you don't believe God loves you...you will always doubt His Word.
Faith is a practical expression of confidence in the act of obedience in the Word of God...we have to do what we hear.
Peace is the by product of our relationship with Jesus.
Keep your focus on the Word...it will increase your confidence and your faith will grow.
Blessings!

Change "I Can't" to "I Can"
Greetings
We are often more concerned with the things we put into our mouths than the things that come out of our mouth. Our words either bring life or death to our circumstances. Learn to say what the Word says about your circumstances and do not be guided by your feelings and emotions.
We have to train ourselves to give up wrong ways of thinking. Too often, we make things harder and much more complicated than they really are…it is really very simple…learn to replace your negative thoughts with the Word!
Jesus said, “Take my yoke upon you, for my yoke is easy and My burden is light.” He has already completed the heavy lifting. Now our job is to ‘enter into His rest, by believing what He has already done for us.
There are so many things that we think we CAN’T do.
I can’t change.
I can’t believe that way.
I can’t go on…with this job…this marriage…this church, etc
I can’t make it.
I can’t forgive…(just know you must forgive in order to be forgiven)
I can’t pay the bills…(who is the provider?...you or God?)
Believe me, this MENTALITY and ATTITUDE, sets us up to fail…to quit…and to live a negative existence. It is a poisonous thought that we must no longer eat or drink of.
We need to learn to replace our “I can’t” thoughts with “I can” thoughts.
Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”
The spirit of God lives in you. You CAN do what HE CAN do in you. 1John 4:17, “As He is, so are we in this world.”
THINK IT & SAY IT:
Think it: “I can”
Say it: “I can”
Mediate on Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengths me!”
Give up the thought that there is anything you CAN’T do. GET IT OUT OF YOUR VOCABULARY. Stop yourself every time you feel like saying it OR correct yourself if you do say it.
Remember, angels are being sent to fulfill the Word of God each time we speak it. If you confess the wrong thoughts then they are pulled off the job. Stay with the Word!
Blessings

Get Into Position
Greetings!
I wonder if we understand the significance of the intense battle and victory that Jesus won for us that night in Gethsemane.
He set us free from sin! He gave us power over the enemy! We often think of sin as any action that violates the Ten Commandments and there is some truth in that thinking. However if we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God and have not violated those commandments, then how did we sin?
The battle in Gethsemane was not over the Ten Commandments...the battle was over the root of all sin which is rebellion...the assertion of self-will!
The very moment when Jesus emptied Himself of His own self-will and surrendered fully to obey God's will...the battle was won...Satan was defeated!...the power of sin and death was broken!...man was delivered from the dominion of self-will and was set free to do God's will.
Sin is asserting our will instead of doing God's will...that was the problem from the start...Lucifer's rebellion was his assertion of his self-will above God's...that is what caused him to fall.
We must empty ourselves...surrender our will and make a commitment to walk in obedience to God's will before we will see total victory in our lives.
Accepting Jesus as our savior is one act...accepting Him as Lord is another step...one can be saved and not be living the victorious life because we are allowing our will to over ride the will of the Father.
There is more to salvation than walking down an aisle and simply confessing words...true conversion is completely and totally forsaking self and self-will and living only to do God's will.
To walk in the fullness of the power of God...we must be willing to empty ourselves...to be totally committed to obedience and submission of His will!
In order to obtain more of God...there will to have be less of us...we have to die to our self-will...His victory was not easy and neither will surrendering our self-will be easy...however it is necessary in order to position ourselves to live the victorious life.
Blessings

Words
Greetings
Our words express our faith. Faith must be released in WORDS through our mouth. Action occurs because we speak. I am not talking about the words you use when you pray. I am talking about the words you use in your everyday life.
Our everyday words do three things to us and for us:
1. Our words identify us.
2. The words we speak set the boundaries of our life.
3. Our words affect our spirit...our inward man.
Mark 11:23 says, "he shall have whatsoever he saith."
We are defeated many times due to our double confession. You might say yes, I know that it says in Philippians 4:19, "My God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" and I am believing God to supply my needs.
But then you see someone down the street or at church and say "we are not doing too well. We are behind in our bills, we are about to lose our car and everything." This confession nullified the first confession.
It is important for us to understand the difference between a fact and the truth. The truth is the Word of God and it says, "My God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." We should only be repeating these words and not allowing our emotional words to bring life to our circumstances.
Remember we either speak life or death and we are to bring life to our circumstances...we can only achieve this by speaking the Word of life.
We know how to speak words...it is time for us to learn how to us words to fight the enemy and to live the victorious life.
Learning to use words to fight the enemy with is not easy...it is like learning a foreign
language...you can learn...however you must practice.
We must realize that words are important. We will never realize anything beyond the words we speak, we will never have anything beyond our own words.
If you need a blessing today...then be a blessing to someone!

We Have the Power
Greetings
God's glory and the good of others must be the dominating factor in all praying and working of God. We must start to use the name of Jesus in every phase of life and not be denied if there is any resistance to the answer of our prayer. As victories come, faith and confidence will grow until there will be a normal faith in the name of Jesus, and no defeat will be possible.
Pray always to God in the name of Jesus! Rebuke demons in His name! Constantly use His name in all daily conflict, pleading the merits of the blood of Jesus in the name of Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. Be fearless and unwavering...the opposing force must move...All must yield to the name of Jesus!
If the enemy roars in your face today....then roar back...."for He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world."
In all praying, faith should be based upon the Word of God itself instead of on what we hear, feel and see. One is not healed because the pain is gone, saved because he feels well, or delivered because he sees deliverance. One is blessed by believing what the Word of God says.
If God says that a certain thing is yours if you ask, then count it done on this basis only. Never say that "I am healed because I feel no pain," or that "my prayer is answered because I feel it is answered."
The sense of our body and soul do not determine if we are blessed...The Word of God has already determined that we are blessed...we simply must believe it!
Be a healer today...be a blessing to someone!

Faith
Greetings
The Word says, if one wants to please God he must have faith---"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Heb. 11:6)
This is the one sure way to please God. If God can be made happy and well pleased in such a simple way, why shouldn't everyone who loves Him put forth the utmost effort to have faith in Him?
God is a person and when we choose not to have faith in His word and promises we are calling him a lair. How can we expect to receive an answer to prayer with this attitude?
How can we have the nerve to come to God continually and ask Him for something and then tell Him by our acts and innermost feelings that we do not believe Him and cannot trust Him to the extent that He demands?
Faith is simple---it is believing God without wavering, doubting, or questioning what He says. It is believing not only that He is able, but that He will do it!
The way to get faith is by hearing the Word of God. The way to use faith is to take God at His Word and judge Him faithful in granting that what is asked in the name of Jesus.
Learn to thank God for your answer to prayer as if it were already done. Expect the complete answer whether you see it or not. Do not be moved by your symptoms, feelings, impossibilities or anything to the contrary.
Faith laughs at impossibilities and cries, "It is done!"
Whatever you are asking God for today---It is done---now just rest in Him.
Blessings

Do We Fear God?
Greetings
As a nation we must turn back to God. That means each one of us must reevaluate our relationship with God. Our President has stated, America is not a Christian nation. We have reduced the glory of the Lord to our image and to the measure of corruptible man. Our actions as Christians should be influencing the President instead of his words influencing us.
We must seek to know more about God. The more I seek to know Him the more I realize I still have a long ways to go! Proverbs 23:17 says, "Be zealous (passionate) for the fear of the Lord all the day." We should ask God to increase our understanding concerning our fear of Him. Understanding how to properly fear Him will be a continuous revelation, however fearing Him is essential in order to have a proper relationship with Him.
Developing a Holy fear is the key to God's sure foundation, it is the key for unlocking the treasuries of salvation, wisdom and knowledge. Along with the love of God, it composes the very foundation of life!
The truth is we will serve whom we fear---If we fear God, we will serve Him. If we fear man, we will serve man. We must choose!
There are many promises for those who fear the Lord.
Promises angelic protection---Psalm 34:7 says, "The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them."
Secures God's continual attention---Psalm 33:18 says, "Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who hope in His mercy."
There are many more promises, more than I can list in this space. I suggest we take the time to understand exactly what it means to fear the Lord.
We must pray for our leaders, pray for their salvation and their relationship with God. As Americans we can disagree on many policies and the best course of action however, we all must agree that we are a Christian nation. If we are led by God then the best policies and actions will be His ways.
Blessings

Truth
Many preachers and teachers are telling us we do not have to go through trials, testings and persecutions. And if we do face these test, it is because we have sin in our lives, we are out of the will of God, we do not have enough faith or God is punishing us.
Satan's strategy is to attack us in the daily circumstances of our lives. His objective is to gain control of our wills so that we will turn our backs on God and sin against Him. To doubt God is a sin....we do not have to break one of the Big 10 to fall into sin...just doubting His Word is enough for Him...remember Satan is trying to destroy our relationship with and alienate us from God.
He wants us to question God's love...to cause us to lose faith in God and His promises.
Satan wants to wear us down with FEAR, WORRY and DOUBT...he wants to bring stress to our everyday lives...How we react to our circumstances, trails and tribulations determines how much stress we will face each day.
If we will face these things knowing and confessing that God will deliver us then we will be filled with a peace that passes all understanding. We can "confess" the Word until we are blue in the face, but it will not be effective in our lives until we speak it in unwavering faith, believing whatever we speak will be done.
Stand strong! Do not FAINT IN YOUR MIND!
Think of all the times during the day that we doubt God or that we do not even allow Him a chance to fix the circumstance...I know I must repent for these times...what about you?
Blessings

Our Real Challenge
A place of plenty is not always an easy or comfortable place for us however, there will always be enough for us.
God does not bring us up to the promise land to have a picnic, he takes us to the promise land to fulfill our destiny.
Our real challenge is to hear and obey the Word of the Lord.
Deuteronomy 28 explains the blessings for being obedient and also the punishment for disobedience. Sometimes we fail to fear God!
Are we really listening or just enjoying the parts of the Word that please our flesh?
We are all about being blessed however, we tend to forget to read the parts of the Bible that tell us what is required to be blessed.
I know my obedience can improve greatly.

Weed Your Garden
Greetings
God says, I will put my laws into your mind---after we have forsaken our thoughts. We have to work out our own salvation. The mind which is our soul in biblical terms is our job. God will handle the spiritual life and the body.
How we progress in our thought life determines our spiritual growth.
1 Corinthians 14:20 says, "Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men." That means we are to stop thinking as children and think as adults.
Our mind is like a garden and the weeds must be cleared before planting occurs and as the seeds are reaching maturity.
Three weeds to watch for and keep removed from the garden:
1. Thoughts---this is were sin begins, the enemy will attack us with what we see. Our sight is what the enemy uses to pollute our minds. We have to be active in removing any impure thoughts.
Job 31:1 says, "I made a covenant with mine eyes: why then should I think upon a maid?" We have to make a decision not to look upon bad things. Our eyes are the window to our soul, so do not give the enemy a foothold.
2. Free from anxious thought---stay free from fear and doubt---turn your anxiety into prayer and do not think on worry and doubt.
3. Earth bound thoughts----do not be concerned about earthy things, material things, do not let your thoughts bound you to these things. Instead think on things that are pure.
Philippians 4:8 says, "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
Controlling your thoughts is vital, that is where the enemy plans to attack you.

Paul

The Mind is Our Job
Greetings
Often we think because we are saved the work is complete. Nothing could be further from the truth. God has saved our spirit by his power, our body will be saved by Him, that is why we still manifest sickness from time to time. Our mind is being saved, our mind is our soul in biblical terms.
The enemy attacks our thought life, not our hearts. In the garden, the enemy planted a thought in Adam and Eve's, he made them think they were not like God. He did not attack their hearts, he did not make them believe that God did not love them.
Our job is to keep our thought life on track, to weed out the thoughts that are not like God's. This is the area that we are to participate in our salvation. When we are rejecting negative thoughts, then we are able to receive His thoughts.
Isaiah 55:7 says, "Let the wicked forsake his ways, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon."
God will take care of saving the spirit and the body however, we must be active in renewing the mind. That is because God never over rides our will and we have to make a choice to think like Him.
Remember this saying:
Sow a thought----reap an act!
Sow an act----reap a habit!
Sow a habit----reap character!

Confidence in God
Greetings!
Every unhappiness, every sorrow that has ever come upon this world or mankind was caused by man's disobedience to God. However, sin and disobedience did not bring a change in God's vital relationship to man. God still loves, cares for, and provides for man.
If God's relationship to man is one of love, and if our relationship to God is one of obedience and trust...yet trials, tests, pain, suffering and tragedy come into our lives...then we must look beyond the scenes for a hidden reason, something we are not able to see with our natural eye.
Behind every circumstance, every situation, every trial, there is a definite, meaningful reason. Often we are not able to see that reason or comprehend it through our natural senses.
Man does not live in one world at a time, he lives simultaneously in two worlds. He lives in a natural world...materialistic, human, flesh, bones and blood world. It is very real.
Man also lives in a spirit or spiritual world, this world is just as real...in a sense, more so...than the natural world. Our trials and circumstances take place in both worlds.
Our trials will occur in the natural world in our physical body, in the material realm, but our greatest test will come in the spiritual world...the world of our faith!
Never let the enemy shake your confidence in God!

Recovering
Greetings!
It has been a wild ride the past two weeks. First of all, I was working in the yard and I use the word working loosely. After a short rest and a shower, I begin to feel a pain in my arms and chest, which we now know was a mild heart attack. That lead to triple-bypass heart surgery last week. I am home now and feeling much better and I look forward to updating the blog more often.
Thanks to all of you for your calls, cards and prayers, everything made a great difference and is speeding up my recovery.
I can tell you the enemy will attack your mind during these times, it might appear that it is was my heart however, the real battle was in the mind.
He always attacks the mind, so we have to stay strong and be active in renewing our minds each day.
Blessings

End-Time Financier
Greetings
My desire is to be the funnel through which God's blessing flow. I desire to be a seed planter therefore, I am always looking for a place to sow a seed and listening to God's voice as to where the seed should be planted.
It can be a large seed or it may just be an act of kindness to someone that the Lord has placed in our path. We may take them for coffee or dinner, we can all plant that type of seed.
God is going to set people apart and even during the worldwide economic crisis, He will release His blessings upon them to fulfill His purpose. The time has come for God to open the windows of heaven and pour out such a blessing upon His people that they will be almost unable to contain it. His purpose is to release this wealth into the hands of His people, but not for selfish reasons.
It is going to take multiplied millions of dollars to reach the world with the Gospel. As we respond in faith and dedicate ourselves and all that we have to God, He is going to give you a financial breakthrough. We will be His conduit, His funnel through which he will release His blessings--We will become one of God's end-time Financiers of His end-time harvest!
Five things you need to do:
1. Focus your eyes upon God as your Source of Total Supply!
2. Walk in covenant relationship with God wherein you live in obedience to Him and give according to the plan He revealed in His Word.
3. Bind the spirits of fear, worry and doubt from your mind!
4. Raise the level of your faith by acting upon the Word God has spoken to you!
5. Dedicate your finances to God.
Ask God to take you beyond the limitations of your natural mind into a new level of faith greater than you have ever experienced!
Allow God to take you beyond your current level of faith in which you believe and expect Him to pour His wealth and blessings through you in this end-time hour as one of His end-time Financiers.
In times of crisis the one thing we should never do is QUIT GIVING! Continue to be faithful in your giving and look for opportunties to plant more seed.
Blessings

Financial Blessing
Greetings
My desire today and over the next few weeks is to encourage you concerning the present worldwide financial crisis.
To survive during this worldwide financial crisis, you must no longer live according to the limitations of your natural mind but your life must be directed by the very words which proceed from the mouth of God. Read Matthew 4:4.
The key to your financial breakthrough and God's promised blessing in your life is your faithfulness as you walk in a covenant relationship with Him, where you live in obedience and line up your life with His Word.
Many Christians are living a half-hearted Christian life. They are following after the carnal lusts of their flesh and still claim god's promises of blessing.
John 15:7 says, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."
The truth is we are unable to take hold of God's promises unless we have a strong covenant relationship with Christ. Prosperity, blessing and abundance were part of God's covenant with Israel. The fulfillment of these promises was based upon one thing...keeping their covenant with God through their faithfulness and obedience to all His commandments.
I believe the Lord is releasing a financial anointing right now! I believe you and I will see his financial blessings over the next nine months as we release an offering to Him today!
I encourage you to plant a $900 seed and watch as God commands your debt to be supernaturally washed away over the next nine months. Some of you will see it happen immediately. You can plant it all at once, over the next two months or over the next nine months. Why $900? because nine means completion and there are nine months left in this year, so you will be debt free by the end of the year. Is it $9, $90, $900 or $9000, it is what the Lord tells you is the right number. Your seed will determine your harvest, so how much harvest is required wash away your debt.
We have to follow God's principles in order to receive His blessings, they are not going to fall out of the sky on to us. I recently competed a study on these principles, the teachings are on CD and can be order on our web site. I encourage you to understand and follow these principles to experience a financial breakthrough in your life.

Your Thoughts
Proverbs 23:6-8 says, "Do not eat the bread of him that has an evil eye neither desire his dainty meats. For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. Eat and drink he says to you but his heart is not with you."
The enemy understands this verse, he knows he cannot do anything to you unless your mind and your flesh cooperate with him.
Notice the context in which God is saying, "As a man thinks, so is he." He is saying a person can pay you compliments. A person can invite you to dinner. A person can say, "Eat and drink, you are welcome here." But just because they say that, it does not reveal who they really are. Who they really are is what they are thinking on the inside.
We have been told that we are what we say, but we need to understand something---what we think is who we really are. What we are thinking on the inside is who we really are. Someone may ask you, "How are you doing?" And you are thinking, "Man, I am lousy. I feel bad. I do not feel good." And you say, "Everything is fine."
You may be saying "everything is fine" thinking you are making a faith statement, but what I am telling you is: who you really are is made up of what you are thinking inside.
As you think within, that is who you really are, and that is why we have to pay more attention to changing the thoughts that we think even more than changing the words we speak.
Real Change comes from the inside out---not the outside in!

Thanks

Hey Great Warriors!
Thanks for covering us with your prayers as we traveled last week. We had a great time in Louisiana with Dr. & Bishop Clarice Fluitt at the The Eagles Nest World & Prayer Center.
Vicki presented several enactments and taught on the Five Love Languages, she was awesome!
Paul taught on communication and how men and women differ in their communication efforts. He was very comical and well received by the congregation.
Ezra 8:22 says, "The gracious hand of our God is on everyone who looks to him, but his great anger is against all who forsake him."

Choice
No matter how disrespectful a wife may be, when a husband unconditionally loves her out of obedience to Christ, he can win her. Hosea the prophet was called by God to unconditionally love his adulterous wife (Hosea 3:1). The Lord knew that unconditional love is the best way to influence a wife to return to Him and to her husband.
No matter how unloving a husband may be at the moment, when a wife unconditionally respects him out of obedience to Christ, she can win him "without a word" (Peter 3:1-2), that is, influence him to follow Christ, which also results in him treating her better.
We always have a choice, even though you may be experiencing disappointment, frustration, or anger---a wife can chose to be disrespectful or respectful---a husband can chose to be unloving or loving.

Use Thankful Words
How often do you thank your spouse for what he or she does for you everyday?
Do you sometimes withhold words of thanks because you feel your spouse does not deserve them or will not receive them?
Jesus put a high priority on thankfulness, and He gave thanks whenever the occasion warranted it. The way of Jesus is to give thanks, and He expects His followers to give thanks to God and to others.
Using thankful words toward your spouse will bring healing and improve your relationship with your spouse.
If a husband is expressing appreciation and love toward his wife then he cannot be ungrateful for her.
If a wife speaks respectfully and loving toward her husband then she cannot be complaining about him.
Take time today to express your "thanks" to your spouse---it could be as simple as saying thank you for cooking dinner to your wife or thank you for taking the trash out to your husband.
Look for opportunities to express your thanks and appreciation to your spouse. We say thank you to people we do not know everyday, yet we go many days without saying the same thing to our spouse.
Since it is easy to be negative, focus on your mate's good qualities and express thanks with positive words of Love and Respect.

Faith is Your Shield
Faith is a supernatural force produced in the heart of man by hearing and receiving the written Word and the Living Word, Jesus Christ, into his life. Jesus and the Word cannot be separated. Jesus is the Word. When one "hears"--receives--the Word into his spirit, he receives faith.
Ephesians 2:8 says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God."
Many Christians are weak because they depend upon their own faith to fight and resist the enemy. The faith that makes us CONQUERING soldiers is the faith of Jesus Christ that is given to us by God.
Remember, it is not your faith in God that moves mountains, it is God's faith that is in you, working through you that moves mountains.
The next time you think you do not have enough faith or your faith is not strong enough to believe for a circumstance, just remember it is His faith and not your faith doing the work.
Faith is the gift of God that is planted in the hearts of those who acknowledge Christ as the Son of God and surrender their wills to Him.
Before going to the cross, Jesus told His disciples "...be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." He did not say, "I am going to overcome the world"; or even "I will overcome the world"...Jesus said, "I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)
Jesus went into battle carrying his faith as a shield. He faced the pain and suffering of the cross full of faith, knowing that God was with Him.
As you face your circumstances, remember your are carrying the faith of God with you into the battle. You have already won the battle, starting claiming your victory and give God all the glory.

Fear
One day in July, a farmer sat in front of his shack, smoking his corncob pipe. Along came a stranger who asked, “How’s your cotton coming?”
“Ain’t got none,” was the answer. “Didn’t plant none. ’Fraid of the boll weevil.”
“Well, how’s your corn?” “Didn’t plant none. ’Fraid o’ drouth.”
“How about your potatoes?” “Ain’t got none. Scairt o’ tater bugs.”
The stranger finally asked, “Well, what did you plant?”
“Nothin’,” answered the farmer. “I just played it safe.”
Do not allow fear to rule in your life. 2Timothy 1:7 says, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and a sound mind."
When we allow fear to dominate our thinking and actions, we create a closed heaven for ourselves. Ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom before making a decision, seek His wisdom first, take time to pray and fast before deciding your course of action.

The Blessing
Greetings
Matthew 6:33 tells us about "The Blessing". In this verse, Jesus is speaking and he says, "But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
Often we consider our blessing to be a new home, a new car, new clothes, more money, good health, a sound mind and peace in our lives. These things are not the blessing, they are the by product of "The Blessing". Jesus is the blessing, the Kingdom of God is the blessing. These other things are the result of having the blessing within you.
1Corinthians 1:30 says, "But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption."
These things are The Blessing of God, these are the things we should be seeking. We can only obtain wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption by having a personal relationship with Christ. Once you have accepted Christ all these blessings belong to you.
He will add the by products of the blessing in His timing and not ours.
The next time someone ask you if your are blessed, do not let your thoughts turn to what material things you have, just say YES!
Remember you are blessed and highly favored, no matter what happens to you today, nothing can change the truth.

Greetings
It is snowing today, a rare sight for this area. It is a beautiful sight and it will be gone soon, that is the beauty of living on the coast. It stays warm enough to keep us from having a prolonged weather event.
Just like the snow brings a fresh and clean feeling, that is the feeling we get when Jesus comes into our lives. Everything is covered, everything is pure white and it is a fresh new beginning.
Many of us have experienced a dark time in our lives however, Jesus is waiting to bring us through those times, just call out to Him.
Matthew 6:22 says "The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light."
Choose to see light, choose to see yourself as healed, choose to see yourself happy, choose to see yourself wealthly, choose to see yourself as beautiful or good looking, choose to see yourself happily married. God already sees you this way!
How you see the world and yourself through your eyes determines how your life will be.
Allow the Lord to cover you with a fresh blanket of snow, allow him to cover what you consider your past mistakes. Once you ask Him to forgive you, He will always see you covered in white.
Blessings

Blessings
Paul
