Satan's strategy is to attack us in the daily circumstances of our lives. His objective is to gain control of our wills so that we will turn our backs on God and sin against Him. To doubt God is a sin....we do not have to break one of the Big 10 to fall into sin...just doubting His Word is enough for Him...remember Satan is trying to destroy our relationship with and alienate us from God.
He wants us to question God's love...to cause us to lose faith in God and His promises.
Satan wants to wear us down with FEAR, WORRY and DOUBT...he wants to bring stress to our everyday lives...How we react to our circumstances, trails and tribulations determines how much stress we will face each day.
If we will face these things knowing and confessing that God will deliver us then we will be filled with a peace that passes all understanding. We can "confess" the Word until we are blue in the face, but it will not be effective in our lives until we speak it in unwavering faith, believing whatever we speak will be done.
Stand strong! Do not FAINT IN YOUR MIND!
Think of all the times during the day that we doubt God or that we do not even allow Him a chance to fix the circumstance...I know I must repent for these times...what about you?
We can choose victory...we can choose life...we can choose heaven! But we must choose, victory will not fall into our lap!

Paul - First, re your previous entry... what a BLESSING you are and this blog is to me! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteToday's entry really hits home. Work is extremely difficult these days - very much uncertain. I find myself facing the wall behind my desk some mornings pondering the print hung over my desk. Its a beautiful picture of a scerene lake (not unlike the Bugg Lake, but without the squishy mud, maybe) and it says "It is well with my soul." All that the enemy throws at me can't change that. It is, indeed, well with my soul. Thanks for the reminder that it is my choice to put worry and doubt behind me. I choose victory!
